Possibly looking for a change. NG Army CID Special Agent and current Detective LEO for past 19 years. Downside is that I am 42 years old, but in great shape Smile Is there an age cap for Reserve CGIS, or are there prior service considerations?

Thanks all

Are you going to pull those pistols or whistle Dixie?

The total number of years of service and where you reside will impact whether there can be a switch. Also, the Reserve IV program takes enlisted folks at the E-4 and E-5 levels. Only under special circumstances do folks come into the program as an E-6.

Contact a CG recruiter back home, and ask if the local CGIS office has any IV openings. He/she should be able to find that out for you.

Good luck!
