I am currently a game warden in Louisiana with 4 yrs exp. I am state post certified and I am also a deputized federal agent through the U.S. Fish and wildlife service. We do all of our own investigations because we do not have detectives. I am interested the Investigator iv position for the reserves, I am also prior Navy. What training should I expect? Do I have to go through an "A" school or is my police academy good enough? Or, FLETC maybe. How often do investigators deploy and what is typical of their 2 week training. Thanks.
