Our brave soldiers deserve our support. Even more so when they come home. It's also time to end this before we go the way of the Russians who went bankrupt fighting the Afghans after 10 years of futility.

The United States make the big mistake, adhering to present tactics of conducting war in Afghanistan. Similar errors made both Great Britain and Soviet Union when had armies in this country. To the Afghani people that occurs somewhere in other part of Afghanistan is indifferent. But, if against any concrete clan or a part of a tribe strangers for them armies undertake hostile actions (not very well for what!), members of this tribe undertake actions to cause the maximum loss to the enemy. Especially - that NATO armies are strangers in their country. And on their fault peace citizens - children and women perish.

It is not necessary to try to construct a democratic society in this country is it will not turn out owing to features of mentality of inhabitants of this ancient country. It is necessary to replace tactics. It is necessary to achieve wished by other methods. It is necessary, that inhabitants of Afghanistan received the income not from культивирования a poppy and manufacture of drugs, and from tourist or other peace business.

Unfortunately, children are used by the enemy. There were reports that the Viet Gong gave handgrenades to children because of how friendly we were to children. The enemy here is not beyond using this against us. Plese be careful!

Guess some folks don't have any moral or ethic values whatsoever...and unfortunately, yes - soldiers really should always be careful. I think children unfortunately have been used in almost all wars in history in some way - seems to be getting worse, though. Bless you all out thereSmile
