I was totally stunned to receive word earlier today that an old friend, Dan Perkins (ETC Retired) passed away suddenly this past weekend.

My heart is with his family, friends and shipmates!

I dont know the details behind his death and would ask that true peace be extended to his family.

Respectfully,
GMC Wilbert

I had the honor of working for him on the TAMPA, he was a great guy, one of the most knowledgable technicians I've ever met and a good friend.......

RIP...CHIEF PERKINS

Is this the Dan Perkins that was the SCCS 110/210 guru at C2CEN?

Losing both Dan Perkins and Fred English in less than a year is a big loss for CG Electronics.

But as Fred always said-

Don't let the Clowns get ya down!

I am here at Petaluma and I know that it is a little late. I used to work with Dan Perkins (ETC Retired) when I was on the Tampa. One of the guys out here told me about it today. Great guy and the Ideal Chief of the Cutter. He will be truly missed. Rest In Peace Dan.
