I am wondering what are the benefits provided by the VA for a veteran who is 100% service connected disabled? I have read different things online, but I just don't know. Do vets get dental care at 100%? I read on Ehow.com that said veterans get a housing allowance. Is that true? Any advice is much appreciated.

What you get came in the package. If you are 100% Permanent and Total, then you get dental, your family gets education and Champva.
Beyond that you get health care and compensation. Housing allowance is for those whose disabilities require adaption, not a monthly allowance. You should be reading the material sent to you and that on the VA web site and this site.
We have answered these question in posts and in the FAQ. Read what we offer, not eHow.
Thanks Dave. That is what I was refering to, the rates that you say were set over 30 years ago. I guess Congress hasn't gotten a pay raise in over 30 years either so I am thankful with what I get. Just wondering why the Veterans Commission was created if Congress wasn't going to do anything anyway.
