I can not find a list of ratings on the VA.Gov web site. Here is a link for several questions on ratings:

https://iris.va.gov/scripts/iris.cfg/php.exe/enduser/st...7E&p_group=&p_page=1

Maybe someone else know more about this. I know the list is very long.

Here you go. The ratings are intermixed with everything else. Lot of useful info here regarding the ratings; how, what, etc.

The rating are found on the VA web site www.va.gov their rule book the C.F.R 38 Section 4.71a broken down by number starting with 5000 and working on up. You can also google 38 CFR and come up with a number of hits that have search engines that will direct you to the ratings. If you are working with a VSO ask them for a copy of your code sheet so you know which code you are looking for so you can see how high your rating can go and what sx to look for. I can get complicated some times so tell me if I go to far.

Howdy,

Currently I have a 30% rating for a bad left shoulder, almost no motion, degenerative arthiritis, extreme pain and weakness, already have had two surgeries. Now the only way to take the pain away is to replace the whole shoulder and widdle down of other bones in the same area, will still have minimal motion.

So according to the rating schedule below, will I automatticaly be getting the 100% rating for one year and and then go back to 30% after the year is over? Is the 100% something I would have to apply for or is it done automatically?

Confused so any help is greatly appreaciated.
