When I retired, I was warned not to discuss certain issues, for 10 years. I've been out for 14 years, and would like to do some short stories that include a blend of fact and fiction.

Would it be kosher to reference certain happenings, or equipment used, when I was actually serving, from 20 years ago, or so???

I would say contact the NSA... THEY should have the ablity to tell you...

IF not them, I would not be writing anything until you clearance in writing to cover your but..
