Hi everyone-
My fiance is currently deployed and I'm already looking for jobs for the next school year. I am a certified teacher in NY and am currently in my first year of teaching. I will be moving down to bragg this summer after we get married. I'm not sure how good of a chance I have to get a teaching job on base. What I was wondering is if anyone knows if the local districts around the area have something in their contract that would let me leave my teaching job if my fiance and I had to PCS within the school year. Thank you for any help!

Not sure about the contract options. I do know that to apply to teach on post you have to go through www.am.dodea.edu

The school districts around fort bragg are Cumberland county, Harnett county (those are the two that I know of)
PM me if I can help with anything else.
