I am trying to find information on adult child education benefits if any. My daughter is getting closer to college and I would like to assist financialy. Does the military or the State of California have any programs for our children?

Make an appt at the financial aid office of the closest college. They will have all of the latest information on what she may be eligible to apply for on grants, loans, etc.

California offers the CalGrant - there is Plan A, B or C. Plan B is the ONLY thing out there that will give her something based on her grades; everything else you have to be low income or a minority.
If your husband were to retire in the state of CA w/ 10% disability - your daughter could go to a state school tuition paid for. Other than that - she needs to fill out the FAFSA and seek financial aid or loans. Always consider a community college first before a 4 year school - cheaper and you are getting the same education. |
