I worked for more than 7 years in Florida (civilian job) and my husband was recently transfered to a base in Japan. Im afraid I will have trouble collecting unemployment. Has any of you as working military wives have any problems in collecting unemployment whn your husbands have been transfered to a base outside the states?

It is up to the state but usually you cannot collect unemployment while overseas.

If you quit because of the move, highly doubtful you will get unemployment. I'm overseas and I haven't heard of anyone getting unemployment, but I guess it depends on the state.
