Currently, 18 military installations are participating in this pilot program. please see your local Base education office, Family Center or One Stop Career Office for details. The goal is to have the funds available for the January semesters.


Eligible spouses: those whose sponsors are rank E1-E5 and O1-O3 and have at least a GED, High School diploma or some college.

Funds alloted: Spouses will be eligible for up to $3000 a year for a maximum of two years.

Distribution: Funds will be paid directly to the institution on behalf of the spouse. It can be used for tuition, books, equipment, credentialing and licensing fees and other education and training expenses. It may not be used for child care expenses.


Length of Pilot Program: Three years. Assessment will be made at that time with regards to extending or expanding it.
