Just got off the phone and I WAS APPROVED for engineering and a CAA!!!!!
So stoked. Because I'm doing engineering and Ku charges an engineering course fee per credit it'll get used up the first semester, but, it's still a help!
Long and short, dont get discouraged and apply. The worst they can say is "no"
Maybe I should do some more digging and see if they have changed the "if you already have a bachelors degree you don't qualify" rule. In the short term view (the next 5-10 yrs)I could make good use of some vocational training while waiting to go to grad school and during it.
