So, read through the responses but I had one question to confirm...my husband and I will be relocating in October and I am currently working in California. If I quit due to our move, I can apply for unemployment...even if we move overseas?
Thanks!

When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives means the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand.

I think it depends on the state where you are filing the claim. When we PCS'd to Ft Bliss from Alabama I filed for AL unemployment. I sent in a copy of the PCS orders with the claim. I got a denial letter, so I appealed the case and when I had my appeal session over the phone the lady told me that some states (AL apparently being one of them) do not consider PCS moves a good reason for quitting your job. I appealed it again, just to let them know I dont appreciate it, but I doubt it will get done this time. I worked at my last job for almost 6 years, and would never of left had it not been for our PCS.
