Just wondering if anyone has went to, or is currently going to Penn Foster College. And if so, if you could give me your opinion about whether it's a good college or not. I am looking at doing their veterinary technician program online and was just trying to get some information about it. Thanks!
I have a friend that was taking classess for the vet tech program through Penn and she said its affordable and gets great one on one help when needed over the phone. She has a long way to go shes only been in the program for about 5-6 months so thats all i can give u for now.
I got my high school diploma from them. It was very easy to work with, the people are very helpful too. They have teachers you can call for homework help too.
The only thing I would suggest is looking at a school for later or a vet clinic that would hire you afterwords to help with hands on training, BEFORE you get in the program. Just call a couple places and ask what the requirements are.
I know it's a little late to add this post but I'm taking the Pharmacy Tech program through Penn Foster and it's great. It's affordable and exactly what I wanted because no matter where you go you have your study materials. Like if you move they follow you there. My brother in law is taking the refrigeration tech program, I think that's how you call it. He's looking forward to have his own refrigeration bussiness here in Puerto Rico. They help you get job interviews and help with your resume and how lizzy said you can call them and they have certified professors to help you with any doubts you have.
To be honest for me it's better than college courses. I have a semester on pharmacy tech from a college here in PR and believe me I feel smarter and more prepared through Penn Foster because I have the opportunity to review my material everytime and anytime I want to.
