here is a important piece of info for all. Esspecially for all of us DC3's on the supplemental list or those who will be trying to make second soon.
Master Chiefs, Good afternoon. We have finalized our recommendations for SWE / Supplemental Advancement and have forwarded them on to CG-1221. As I am not sure when the ALCOAST will be published, I urge you to pass this information along to your members, particularly those who will be affected by changes to the supplemental advancement list. Changes: DC2 and GM1 will be removed from supplemental advancement and will take the November 2009 SWE. Rates remaining on Supplemental Advancement: BM1, BM2, FS2, GM2 Thank you. v/r LT E LT Jamie Embry Workforce Forecasting and Analysis (CG-12A) Enlisted Team 202.475.5232 Jamie.M.Embry@uscg.mil I just thought you all might want to know. heres the info
ALCOAST 387/09 3. THE NOVEMBER 2009 SWE WILL BE WAIVED FOR THE FOLLOWING RATES: BM1, BM2, FS2, GM2. 4. THE GM1 AND DC2 SUPPLEMENTAL ELIGIBILITY LIST WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT UNTIL 16 JUNE 2010. PERSONNEL MAY CONTINUE TO BE PLACED ON THIS SUPPLEMENTAL LIST USING THE PROCEDURES OUTLINED IN THIS ALCOAST UNTIL 31 JULY 2009. SINCE PLACEMENT ON A SUPPLEMENTAL LIST DOES NOT GUARANTEE ADVANCEMENT, ALL ELIGIBLE PERSONNEL DESIRING TO ADVANCE TO GM1 OR DC2 SHOULD TAKE THE NOVEMBER 2009 SWE. |
