Just wondering how many DC's out there are looking at or trying to merge to the new ME rate. With advancement starting to become slow in the rate. Are some DC's thinking of switching.

I'm not leaving the rate. I have no interest in being a Police Officer.

"Being a Police Officer" is somewhat of a misconception.

Think more along the lines of "Being a Subject Matter Expert for LE" or "Being a Trainer."

I think you're going to find the ME's won't be "doing" as much as they are going to be "teaching others to do."

That's what I hear from reliable sources...

I here that, I asked the question just out of curiosity. I wouldn't want to leave either. There is no reason not to be a DC. I enjoy my job and don't want to be teaching some BM3 how to put someone in handcuffs. No thanks.
