Any soldier or officer that is currently on active duty does not verbally, physically, mentally attack the integrity of the current commander-in-chief. It's all volunteer enlistment, if a US Marine turns into a "light weight" while serving then they should go to their commanders and claim it, so it does not get his fellow marines killed in action cause this person is second guessing why they are even there during a firefight. The real US Marines know why they are there and what their job is and who their boss is. Mr Bush for the next 4 years.

From the contacts that I still have in the military and my own personal experiences, This attitude is in the minority in the armed forces. Every letter I have received and most servicemen I have spoken with know what they are doing is worth while. The job they are doing is tremendous and the majority of Iraqis and the American public are with them. It is people like this that permeate the media that want US to fail and Paint the action of our brave men and women as murderers and equating them with the Nazi Party of Germany during WWII.

I spent 11 years in the military. It is my experience that the ones who end up being the most outspoken and rebellious to the miltary/government, were the ones who failed to become what they thought they could (wanna be SEALs, Rangers, SF, Recon). So more than likely, this is a guy who wanted to be a Marine, then changed his mind (got scared, it's okay to be scared, I was too) and ran. That's all there is to it. Track down his buddies and you will get the REAL story.

I thought this was about WMD's which the CIA reported were never there, a month before the election. They also said there were no programs to make future WMD's. Scot Ritter a former marine and ex weapons inspector in Iraq also said back before the invasion there were no WMD's there. Wake up and do some research besides what you see on FOX news. |

This post is about Bush, no one here has said anything against our military members. If the military was run by actually military members, Usama Bin Ladens head would have been captured along time ago. No one cares about what your group of friends think. My group of friends feel the exact opposite way you do. People still believe that the Vietnam War was justified, no one wants to feel like they did a job for no reason at all, so they tell themselves differently. Of course, very little good as come out of the Iraq war, but is not even close to comparing to the bad that has come from this illegal war, set up by the Bush administration to line the pockets of corporate america. |
