Why do you want to go Cav? Why do you want to go Infantry? What is causing you to be torn between the two?

well Cav. is pretty cool, i have read up on it, and it is a pretty good mos. the infantry is because its the best way to get to rangers, and is also a good mos, good amount of fighting as well.

As a 19D their are opportunities to be in an Airborne unit and to go to Ranger school, however there are no 19D slots in the Ranger Regiment.

Go Infantry if you want Airborne and Ranger. You can be assigned to a Cav unit as infantry as well.

I can't think of much a 19D does that Infantry doesn't end up doing sooner or later as well. I can think of alot of missions an Infantry unit does but a Cav/Scout unit is not set up to handle.

Might as well go Infantry. You won't ever be told the radio is your primary weapon. Wink

The Stetson and spurs are pretty awesome though.

Go Infantry, if you want to go 19 series, go tanker (you may actually get to see a tank after AIT if you're lucky). With the current deployments, everyone does the same thing the only difference is how many guys you have in your platoon so you may as well not shut off your avenues to Ranger or Airborne units by going cav/scout.
