i am 17 yrs old nd im in the recruting process, im thinking about picking 19 delta(calvary scout) for my MOS. i just wanted to know about some of the tranning and where it is. and i wanted to know more of what its about form someone who is a cav scout.
hey whats up man..training is done at ft knox ky for 16 weeks..im here now for stryker training so ive already graduated..training is fun but challenging at times..you get to shoot alot of amazing weapons

Is Stryker training a part of OSUT? (That's what I was told...)
no its not..heres how it went for the guys in echo troop..we got our orders..pretty much everyone that had orders to hawaii or alaska had stryker training and that was it..we graduated osut then had a 4 day pass then started stryker training the following monday and we stayed in different barracks..it was a two week course with the weekend off..there were tankers with us too..they had a couple of guys who had orders to ft lewis but other than that everyone either was goin to hawaii or alaska..oh and the cadre are awesome..you have so many previleges..your basically permanent party..none of the basic training bull ****.
