Amen to that! There were alot of good times! I really would love to go back and see how much different a United Germany looks, especially from old OP Romeo. 3RD SQ had both India and Romeo, but HWB was responsible for Romeo. Between Border duty, Graf, and Hoenfelds there was alot of "field training". I wouldn't trade it for anything. |

Arguably, one of the most important, probably along with the Berlin Brigade. |

My brigade was under the command of the 11th ACR when we were in Mosul. Let me tell you, they were MUCH cooler than TF B.O.B. (101st) which we were under the command of later in our tour. We could get away with almost anything under the 11th ACR.

Your right. Berlin Brigade was more for show. It was to far inside East Germany with no support. Taking over Berlin would have meant nothing to the Russians. However, moving thru Europe meant going thru the Fulda Gap and "WE" stood watch over the free world! |

Me and a small group of my guys were the MEDEVAC support for the 11th ACR in Kalsu, Iraq in 2005. I love wearing the patch and am a proud recipient of combat spurs from them as well.
