Firstly, I am a Marine. Please don't be hatin' on me. Further, I am a M1A1 tank gunner supposedly being considered for future TC. It is a sad existence languishing in the USMC Armor forum and was hoping to be allowed to post here. I love talking to Marines, but I REALLY love talking about tanks (don't tell the other Marines). I believe that I'm the only Marine Tanker on the USMC Forums.

So I humbly request to be allowed to contribute to your Armor forum. If nothing else, I guess I can lurk; it never hurts to gain information from helpful threads posted by those in the know.

If it helps, almost every family member is Army. With that disclosed, you should surely love me as one of your own and shower me with flowers as a long lost son, as I sit on my throne beneath my laureled wreath.

Real Armor hasnt had that much traction in the Corps until recently. I use to Maintain and train Marines using PTGS, TSFO, and the LAV turret simulator on north post MCBQ.

I wouldn't think so, but Army-types have been affectionately known as "dog-faces". Dogs have teeth.
