Here is a link to my new Masonic forum.
Unlike other forums across the internet, Clandestine Masons are not allowed, nor is discussions promoting Clandestine Masonry. Please read the rules before posting. http://innerchamber.proboards92.com/index.cgi Thanks, Br. Arthur Peterson |

without taking away good hearted visits to Mr. Peterson's forum. but i am also a member of the biggest masonic forum on the internet www.freemasonpride.com and there is another up and coming large site just like FMP (freemasonpride) called www.universalfreemason.com except the latter is not so strict on censoring the free speach on sensitive topics and the moderators are like me current or FORMER (mostly latter) members of FMP. now these 2 forums are both strict on not communicating any secrets of any kind in open forum but no intrusion is made on Private Messages but both sites urge the forum member to keep sacred the promises and vows they have taken. MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL these sites have non masons who are interested in masonry aand these forums provide them with masonic members who can answer there questions if they ask with proper respect. their are even sections for anti masons to post things and no where else besides thos sub forums without the punishment of deletion of accounts and post for breaking those rules. and of course users profiles will reflect their masonic membership whether 1.freemason 2. eastern star/order of the amaranth 3. member of a masonic youth group (Job's Daughters, DeMolay, Rainbow, Triangles, Nathan Hale etc....) 4. "just interested" as for #1 there are blue lodge masons that claim that option as well as prince hall masons and there are even co masons that claim that. some masons might have a problem with that, but i urge that if they follow the rules by not communicating masonicly in open forum, that they can add to the forum knowledge of diferent versions of masonry other than mainstream. Freemasonpride.com's website is based in tennessee and its chief moderator is reponsible for the content therefore he and that content fall under the grand lodge of Tennessee of which i am a native. as an active DeMolay petitioning a mainstream blue lodge but not yet submitted my petition, i have spoken with co masons on these forums (not masonicaly) and have heard their point of veiw on issues such as masonry. and having been a DeMolay proudly for 8 1/2 years one of my favorite things about our chapter is that we all come from differnt walks of life but are united in universal brotherhood no matter creed, ethical, political, age, religion, sexual orientation, national origine etc.. if any of those situations arise. does e pluribus unum sound familiar? and i tend to get smiles from my advisors and close mason friends when i quote my favorite bible verse psalms 133:1 "how good and pleasant it is when brethren dwell together in unity". so that just my personal .02 cents (not speaking for any second or third party just myself)

Interesting. While there is no claim to fame, the Indiana Freemasons claim to have one of the best Freemasons forum around. However, it is for Masons only, so, no cowans or eavesdroppers are allowed. The moderators verify Masonic affiliation for the benefit of being part of their internet group called, "Hiram's Forum." www.indianafreemasons.com Fraternally, /s/ Terry, PM Freemason Hot Topics Moderator |

Thanks for posting that bit of info Terry. I have been trying to figure out a way to have the members validated on my forum as well. There is a good size population of Freemasons that do not want to associate with clandestine orgainsations on the internet. Most of the fora available allow anyone who claims to be a Freemason come on. That is what we are trying to prevent. Promotion of Freemasonry as it has been handed down through the generations is the idea.
I do not think I will be able to pull it off without having my forum sanctioned by a Grand Lodge. Thanks for sharing that link. I did not know there was such a forum already. Br. Arthur Peterson |

Here is an updated url for this forum.
www.thesanctumsanctorum.com We have already upgraded to the latest version of vbulletin software, new server, and the merbership numbers are outstanding. The most fantastic aspect is the contributions by our members. We currently have an Alchemy class being conducted by world reknowned Master Alchemist and Masonic Author WBr. Timothy Hogan. See ya there. |

Bro. Art: Thanks for the info. While I believe that tiled meetings are the best way to meet another brother on the "level," I don't believe that this is the only place to discuss Freemasonry. It has been what has happened in the past with the "Old School Brethren" who believe that openess is the root of all that is distructive to the fraternity. As Masons, we are always careful to examinate all persons whom we want to converse with Masonically. This is because of ways of our brethren of the past that cause the fraternity to loose a generation i.e. "baby boomers," and this has lead to a serious decline in membership and the creation of quick fixes like the One Day Class (ODC) concepts etc. However, and regardless, we know to still meet a brother on the level, while at the same time, we should also market the fraternity to find new and creative ways to attract new members to replace those who have come to the end of life's toilsome journey and have dropped their working tools of life. My. 02 cents of Master Masons wages. Fraternally yours, /s/ Terry, Past Master Freemason Hot Topics Moderator |

I think it's really neat that there are places like these online to talk about Masonry with other brothers. It makes for a great place to share ideas with brethren from all over the country & world.
I really enjoy the two forums I post on, this one, and my Freemasons RC forum. I think it is good for Masonry in general; especially for the "Regular" and Prine Hall Masons to talk to each other. Together we will stand, divided we will fall. Shortly, I hope that all the Grand Lodges will realize this and start working together across the United States. I don't agree with Co-Masonry what so ever in any extent or capacity. I will never recognize a woman as a Freemason nor will I recognize and man who sits in a lodge with a woman, unless it is at an Eastern Star meeting. As for the notion that the "Old School Brethren" believe that openness is the root of all that is distructive to the fraternity, I say nay to them. Part of the problem with Masonry today is refusal to try something new and bring it into the 21st century. The younger generation of Masons needs to step up and lead. Your lodge can't be afraid to try something new just because it hasn't worked in the past. I consider my self a "Fundamentalist Freemason" and carry very traditional values with regards to Masonry. I do not want to change who we are, but I do think we need to tweek the way we operate. ~STREEPER "If you stand pat and don't evolve, you're doomed to extinction." ~Steve Capus |

I agree with you whole heartedly Br. Terry.
What we are doing here is something a little bit new. We have a public area for anyone who wants to learn about the craft. It is full of great information and growing more every day. We also have restricted areas for Masons only. In order to gain access you must submit your name, lodge name and number, secretaries contact number, and appendant body information. Once we have that information your account is setup with access to restricted areas based on your advancement in the craft. We have areas for the Entered Apprentice all the way up to the last degree of the SR and YR to include the invitational bodies. The restricted areas are not tyled, so a degree of caution is necessary to not discuss what we all know not to, but it does allow us to have discussions which go indepth into the symbolism of the craft. An example is the Alchemy 101 class we have going right now. It is being proctored by world reknowned Master Alchemist and author WBr. Timothy Hogan. This is a hands on class with real lab work! This class has generated an unbelievable amount of interest. We have several classes in the works geared to getting a better understanding of the craft and its symbolism. The intent is not convert anyone to one line of thought or another, but to expose them to other points of view. At TSS our main focus is education. I wouldn't advise checking us out today as we are having issues with our host server (everyone who uses Globat is), but if you haven't stopped in to see what it is all about, you are truely missing out on a wonderful online experience. |

BTW...
We have a lot of Masons in the military on our site, so feel free to come on and give a plug about Military.com's Freemasons section. Military Masons is one area we have not and will not focus on as we already have this awesome site for that! |
