Does anyone know of a lodge on Camp Anaconda? Camp Anaconda is the Army side of Balad Air Base (or so I've heard). If anyone could help fill me in, I'd appreciate it.

Yes, they are Prince Hall Lodges. Therefore, if the Grand Lodge of the jurisdiction you are in recognizes Prince Hall, check with them about lodge visitation. One such brother sat in on a Prince Hall lodge and was suspended because his Grand Lodge does not recognize Prince Hall lodges. As always, be careful and whatever you do and check with your Grand Lodge first. There are clandestine lodges even within any Masonic group or lodge whether Prince Hall or not.

I need some advice. I have been informed that there are two (2) crates of equipment belonging to my firm, in a warehouse at Balad. I need to find an officer/NCO who has some idea of how to retrieve these boxes and get them shipped to me in Afghanistan.

Are you at Balad? Can you offer me some assistance and advice?

I'm not at Balad just yet. I won't be over that way for a few more months. I'm just trying to get ideas for now.
As far as your problem, I wouldn't even know where to begin. It's going to be difficult for someone other than a rep from your firm to retrieve your equipment. Whoever has responsibility for the crates now will probably not allow anyone but the owner to move them. I apologize that I couldn't be of more assistance.
