I have a few of these mounts for my units M240's but it seems as though the pins that control the weapons range of motion (port to starboard) is wrong. Where can I get guidance online regarding what notches the pins must be placed into for proper range of motion?

Thanks

if it is the mount that i am thinking of all you need to do is un screw them and put them in the holes that guve you the correct range of movement. also your servising armory should be a great place to start.

The MK16 Mod8 Stand comes with adjustable stops as Rafy pointed out. The proper placement must take into consideration what platform it is being used on however the standard is you should not be able to train any closer than 5 inches from any fixed point fore and aft. As far as elevation, again depends on the platform. Contact your Servicing Area Armory Chief for further guidance. If you are part of sector or group you should have GMs assigned, don't they know?

NYCrims,
Here is a link to ELCs Ordnance Web site. You will need to access from a CG workstation. It has all the Pubs that you're supposed to have but probably don't. It is also a wealth of information for Weapons Petty Officers who need to educate themselves.

No problem. If you've got the duty and nothings going on it's great info to study especially if you're assigned as the Weapons Petty Officer at your station. You duties as WPO are outlined in the Ordnance Manual.

SIR! WOW!

Actually I do derive from one of his 5 tribes. That is absolutely AMAZING that you know that. Have you studied Balkan history?

I'm in shock here haha.

And yes, I am the Weapo at my small boat station, I just took it over and I'm having a bit of a hard time but I'm using my old BM2 course book and several web sites to help.

Gunner will always do his best to steer people in the right direction. He is an asset to the CG.

Mike,
Baghdad is just lovely! I feel like I need to take up residency here. Big Grin

I'm an avid reader of history, politics and world affairs. Without getting into the politics of it all it's a trajedy what they are poised to do in that region vis a vis a seperate state for so-called "ethnic" Albanians (read muslims).

Will,
Don't you realize that everything is f'd up over there? Jeez, pay attention to those democratic talking points! Roll Eyes How long you there for this time?

Sir,

The religion of Albanians is secondary to all of us. We come in nearly every religion you can think of.

Different people will use religion to define the struggles in the Balkans but religion plays a very VERY small role.
