Is there anything that needs to be done to stow pyro vests and the boat pyro box in the gun locker on the UTB? A Waiver maybe? I referenced the Ordinance Manual and the Physical Security Manual and they seem to say some conflicting things. We do not have a 24 hour watch, but the pyro would be under lock and key when not in use and would be accounted for daily.
Any info anyone could provide would be a great help. |

Ordnance Manual Pg 1-1
IF A CONFLICT EXISTS BETWEEN THIS MANUAL AND OTHER DIRECTIVES, THIS MANUAL TAKES PRIORITY. Ordnance Manual Pg 5-32 Storage References. Pyrotechnics shall be stowed per Ammunition Afloat, NAVSEA OP 4, Ammunition Ashore, NAVSEA OP 5 and United States Ordnance Safety Precautions, OP 3347. If your unit does not have these publications, forward any questions to Area via the chain of command. |

Ordnance is what you meant. An "Ordinance" is a rule or regulation generally pertaining to the civilian world.

Why are you posting this question here? Why are you not walking over to the GM "A" School and asking the staff there instead of posting this question on the internet? CWO3 Konkle Pacific Area |

I am all over that Sir. Just awaiting an answer from them. Thought I would tap the GM's knowledge on here in the meantime. After all, that is what the discussion boards are here for, right? |

Gunner Konkle,
Glad to see that you are still around. I see you are still over at PACAREA. Take care.
