I thought this might be a good place to ask if anyone might have a suggestion for a good range in the NH seacoast area. I am living in Raymond over towards Manchester but I visit the seacoast regularly.

I've looked online but it is difficult to tell what's good or not.

Any suggestions? I'm looking into the North Hampton GunRod club and was just told by the North Hampton Police that the Coast Guard uses it from time to time.

I'd just be using a .40 Glock, nothing more.

Take care,

Don

Obie Wan,

Check the NRA web site. They have a list of ranges by state.

I took my 13 yr old son to the Rod/Gun Club in North Hampton, NH yesterday and joined up. Seems like a nice enough range with nice folks running it. I saw all the USCG photos posted in the lounge.

Lots of old sand pits that double as gun ranges up in the granite state.

Don;
When I was stationed in Portsmouth NH, I belonged to this place.

Very nice then and I believe even better now.

We (as a unit) use York County Fish & Game in Lyman, ME. It is about 1/2 hour north of Portsmouth. They will let military members join free. They have 300 acres that members may hunt on. Also, both North and South Berwick (ME) have decent set-up's... a little closer to Portsmouth, really cold in the winter.

Took my son to the Rod/gun club again yesterday.

He's doing pretty good shooting a .40 at age 13.
