I was hurt that I had not written the prayer requests down. I would just logon and view it there as the "last part of my prayers for others". I would look at new posts to see if someone had an urgent special request.
Maybe the MOD can give us 3-2-1 days heads up before deleting. (ie. "In 3 days the thread will be deleted," then a msg "in 2 days...," then another "in 1 day...," then something like "at 11:00PM today...") That would at least give us time to retreive all the prayer requests. Or maybe we could be told a "magic number" of pages posted before deletion. I understand that extremely long threads take up HDD-space, but we have a whole 4 pages of blog threads in RIM, so RIM is one of the smallest threads on mil.com. Crash...I copied your last prayer list so I may have it and to add onto in the future....I think none of us began to beleive that our thread would be loccked...I still have nos idea why but I have to accept it and I am sure a few emails will explain it all...
God Bless and thank you for picking up where we left all from the Non-denominational prayer list. I hope as many people feel free to come here as did there for prayer and comfort. I'm waiting for an answer, I'm the only one that would be deleting any thread, and like before I give plenty of warning, I also don't save the list I just view it every day, say my prayers. lesson learned it we should not trust the internet to hold all the information, that belongs in our hearts.

I searched the event log through to last Weds. Nothing was listed in the RIM except for the burning of the "Muslims Unite" thread. I can think of no reason anyone would have deleted/moved the prayer thread, nor could they without leaving a record in the module event log. I think it was some sort of glitch.

Thanks FleetLiberal and USAF_76_2 for letting everyone know what you know, and for looking into it. Did it disappear at the same time Muslim's Unite "was burned"? I'm guessing you couldn't tell by the records you have.
Truthfully, and personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Satan/Lucifer had a part it it. Considering the term and phrase "the burning of the Muslim's Unite thread", it would 'fit'. That is in no way an editorial comment, just an interesting thought by one who looks for God's beauty in all, but knows the reality of Satan's work amongst the faithful. Your efforts at trying to find out what happened keeps hell and the fires of discontent and erroneous thoughts at bay. Personally speaking. |

I ask to add a prayer for mys dear sweet sister in law who has been diagnosed with small cell carcinoma in her lung and liver...( Not even a smoker or drinker). It is inoperable. She is a young woman of 53 the 15th if this month. My brother was taken from us at age 33 from leukemia so she has traveled some tough roads...She is gem, and I so do not want to lose her....Unless the chemo works she will not have much more time than maybe 3 months.. We have all learned that prayers are answered and I ask with all my heart that you include Lynn in your prayers....Thank you all. God Bless all of you...Hugzz to all...
