I wonder, because I would add my own prayer:

To Any Power that Hears,
I ask that those men and women who seek the other side after combat know peace....and feel a sense of knowing their death was not in vain. I beg that those who have been wounded be cared for and loved....not forgotten or suffer the ignominy of falling through the cracks. I ask that each and every man and woman that sees horror be given healing...not only of body, but of heart and mind. I ask that all that suffer for freedom be given sucrease and comfort, that they may finally rest within the security they have battled so hard to ensure.

I ask that each member of our troops that fight so far from home be watched over....and cared for, in whatever manner will be of the most comfort for them.

And I ask, especially for those that would spit upon me if they knew my beliefs...even if I was bleeding from a wound I had taken in their place...I ask that they be given the security and comfort to know love....and that their sacrifices of body, mind, hearty and soul should never be in vain or forgotten.

I ask the Powers That Be to grant me this request...
