I have a question for everyone. My husband is in basic training for the AF. I received a "DD Form 1172" in the mail, along with some info about tricare. The DD Form 1172 is the form to get the uniformed services identification card, right? The closest base is about an hour away, so I was wondering when I go to get this, what do I bring? What types of ID and things should I take? Will this enroll me in Tricare at that time? Oh, and is the Uniformed Service ID the same as just a spouses military ID? And if not, when will I get that?
Sorry for all the questions. Smile Thanks!!
