Question??? How does anyone know how find out information for Dependants. Does anyone know where to find the pay increase scale chart for new wives/dependants? Navy bride to be, soon to move with questions??? Thank you
There is no extra pay for having a dependant what you see under base pay is what you get. Look under your hubbies rank and his # of years of service and that's his pay.
The only time he gets more money with dependents is if you get a housing allowance to live out in town or if you are overseas and it is COLA (Cost of living allowance).
Hi i have a question. The 1427.40 my df is getting right now as an e-2 in the army is her getting that every 1st and 15th? Or is it a total of 1427.40 to last the whole month which averages about 700.00 every two weeks?
my dh has been in Iraq since Sept and he is supposed to have tax free pay but he has not how does that work. do they reimburse the taxes at a certain point of his pay? he is getting fica taken out and fed so how is that tax free?
The way I understand it is that they are a month or so behind on the tax issue. When they get it correct, his normal pay will remain the same, and there will be a special pay reimbursing the difference.
Also of note. If he is a guard member, many states do not tax guard income.
Ok I have a question about BAH and CONUS COLA .. I read up a little but I am still confused .. I know how much the BAH is and when I went to my honeys my pay there is a CONUS COLA can someone explain that to me? I am not complaining about the extra funds I just want to make sure of what they are. Thanks for any help. ~ Jen
there are like three CONUS(Stateside) duty stations that rate COLA(Cost of Living Allowance). off the top of my head, I do not know which duty stations those are, but if he is there, he gets it. It will fluctuate monthly.
The only states that COLA is paid is in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Mass,Michigan, NJ, Nevada, NY, Penn, and Washington and that is only in certain cities. Then some counties in NY and California. To get the COLA rate he has to be based in that city.

Hi LadyBones .. I think they have you use the members social security number as the username and you create your password. Only thing is I am not sure where you sign up once you are on the page .. husband did all that. Good luck!
