My husband and I are expecting our second child (due at the end of December). He is in the Marine Corps Reserves but is currently active duty. He will be overseas until next spring, after our son will be born. Can I add the baby to DEERS myself, or does my husband need to do it? and if he has to do it, how can he while he is in Iraq?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you have a power of attorney, you can do it. If that's not an option, he needs to talk to people where he is about what he can do to take care of it himself.
