How much is left after taxes is going to depend on what state you're in, how many exemptions and such. We can't calculate that for you.

They will also deduct fees for SGLI (life Insurance). Also that chart is for a 2 day drill it maybe a little more or less depending on how long your drill is next month.
After some examination of that page it looks like those raises don't go into effect till Jan 1st 2010. So for next month you're probably still going to get $284 (from the 2009 Chart) To give you a rough estimate my hubby usually gets around $225 after taxes and SGLI deduction for a 2 day drill. He's the same rank and years as you. |

look at the percentage of your pay that goes to taxes from your civilian job-take the 284 dollar figure from the current pay chart-subtract the sgli premium ( 16 for yourself-24 if you have spouse coverage) and appling that tax rate to it. If you drill more UTAs ( 4 hour drill periods) than 4 or fewer in a weekend-divide 284 by 4 and then multiply by the number of UTAs to get base pay.
