I'm a E-3 and i'm living out in town and i pay rent and for my car i'm not married and i have no children. Is it possible if i caould get some type of BAH or something?? By the way i'm in the navy.

If you have permission from the command to live out in town, not in base housing, then you should go to PSD to get your BAH started.

not necessarily. commands often give 'permission' to live off base but they are NOT necessarily entitled to BAH..Single or otherwise.

if they have to maintain a Barracks room, they are NOT entitled to BAH.

I agree with Mrs. I've seen some "allowed" to maintain places off base, but they had to maintain a barraks room and were never authorized BAH

okey dokey! As far as I knew if you were that low of a pay grade you either lived in the barracks or got permission to live out in town. I stand corrected!

You must also get approval from the BEQ Officer,and if the BEQ is not at least 95% manned approval is not likely.
