I'm just trying to figure out when my husband will get paid from going TDY. He has left for WLC and will be gone 2 weeks, now will he get paid on the 1st/15th as everyone else is or will he just get paid all at once when he turns in his travel voucher?

He a Reservist? If so, then he'll get paid after he turns in his travel vouchers when he returns.
If he's AD, he'll get paid like usual, then a separate deposit will go into his bank account when he returns and files.

Yeah he is reserve. And damn I wish I knew this sooner >< It's going to be a very tight October

actually that depends on how his unit processes the pay-some units process the paperwork to pay a soldier for a school the day he leaves rather than when he returns-if that is how his unit does it-then he should get paid for the school the friday that it ends-and then file his 1352 for travel and per diem when he returns and get that as a seperate deposit two weeks or so after is filed. If the dont process the pay for the school til he returns it might be two weeks after he gets back before you see any pay.

The UA should submit the orders for pay on the day the orders begin if they are over 9 days. This means he would be paid on the last day.

Lately, my TDY is paid with in 10 days if it is scanned and e-mailed in.

That's how it's been working for us the last couple years now....well, except went we went AD I mean.
