I am trying to arrange for a storage facility to be available when I arrive at my destination, but am unsure on the size of the unit to rent. I don't want to get one that is going to end up costing me too much. Does anyone know what the rate is for temporary storage or how it is calculated? Will I simply be reimbursed for the exact amount that it costs me? Is there a limit as to how much I will be reimbursed? I don't want to end up getting a unit that that costs more than what the government deems acceptable. I am authorized temporary storage while I find a new residence, but unsure as to what that covers. Another consideration is to keep everything in the rental truck as long as necessary, though if I read correctly, the max amount of days to use a rental truck as storage is 15. Any thoughts?
