I whole heartedly agree with Skipcj. Those of us who served prior to 9/11 don't count. Some of us got screwed out of the Vietnam Era GI Bill and ended up with VEAP. Even if we could later transfer to the MGIB, we still ended up on the short end of the stick.
The government promised me health care for me and my dependents for life if I served twenty years & then reneged on that. Now that they had a chance to give me something for 20 years of hard work and dedicated service, me and all the others in my era of service get nothing. Thanks!
