What about those of us who entered service after the old GI Bill, but before MGIB? THose of us who HAVE NO GI BILL benefits, except if you elected VEAP. For purposes of transferring benefits to dependents, the new bill says you have to have served 10 years. I have served 23 years, but retired in June 2003 - that only gives me 21 months of eligibility for this new bill - is this correct? Tell me they still forgot about those of us in the No-GI-Bill zone?
