Heres the situation: Joined USMC in 09/2005 and received an erroneous enlistment due to an irregular heartbeat in 11/2005. The superior officers at the time said to take advantage of the GI Bill the Life Insurance, along with a few others. For the past 3 years I keep being told by websites to take advantage of the GI Bill. Its from my understanding that I paid the one time payment out of my first check in the service and checked off the box saying yes I want the GI bill, and wanting to be in the service and trying to rejoin countless times I fall under chapter 3 I believe. So I have a problem I want to go to college. How do I get to the bottom of this whether I am good to go or not? Tell me what you guys know.
