im a disabled veteran with a 40% service conection.i just recieved a bill from the va, for $95.00 the other day for perscriptions that are pescribed for those service conected diabilities, which are supossed to be free and the letter states that they will take that 95.00 from my disability check starting in january,i dont even get an itemized list of what im being charged for, so i think the v.a. needs to at least show me what they want me to pay 95.00 for.

Sir, please call the hospital where they fill your meds and they can tell you what you are being billed for. Mistakes are made. If you have problems ask to talk to the Business manager in the Business Office for the Hospital.

I am not for sure what the rules are on paying for part of the meds. I am 100% IU, so I even get travel pay.

Please come on back if you do not get the answers you need.

May God richly bless and keep you.

In His Service,

Grover

Time to time the VA doctors fail to mark something as service connected. If you look at the paperwork for the prescription, you can tell if it was service connected. As Grover said, call the VA and have them correct the record for these prescriptions to service connected. And at the doctor each time, make sure they mark all actions as service connected. Many doctors forget.

Like Grover, I am 100% so my insurance gets billed when they make a mistake.
