will these elegible disbaled veterans have to file a fed. income tax form?

what are the procedures for vets to claim such Payments?

what sources can vets use to keep posted on this?

No need to report it as income...when you receive that $250.00

No need to apply either..If you're receiving SSDI..etc., the information is automatically harvested.

Expect the check between now and the end of MAY.

I didnt receive anything last year, because, I was told that the VA monthly check isnt taxable. I dont understand why if you worked for 30 years of your life, they say that you cant get Social Security and VA monthly checks...only just one, which is not eonough to live on...

Do you receive VA Compensation or a Pension. A pension is meant to augment or replace social security when a veteran's income is too low. Compensation is for service Connected illnesses and allows for receipt of both it and Social Security.

You should have filed a return just for the rebate. There where procedures and the information was on this forum.
