Hello.
I am not sure what you are in need of in terms of advice, so while I await your questions, I will offer you some thoughts: (1) You are not Permanent and Total. Unless you have been rated 100% for over 20 years, and then under certain circumstances you may be called in for a C&P. Forget that over 55 rule as well, this will answer Dave's point a while back about that. I have been rated 100% since the 80's I am over 55 and guess what? this past April I was scheduled for an exam. How convenient is that? The end results of which and what I did is immaterial presently, I simply make the point that whatever the VA says, isn't always so. Do they have a back door provision allowing for exams? You bet. (2) As long as a home is in the name of another person (spouse) in most states you deny yourself the corresponding disability/tax abatement property tax. I guess the only question or point left to make is to ask you whether or not you have applied for either the CRSC or CRSP programs under 38USC?
Sorry for not being a bit clearer, I spent 10yrs on active duty then to enlist into the Army Guard and was given a medical discharge with early retirement then filed a claim with the VA and was made a 100% disabled vet total and permanent. The home is in both of our names but we did the original loan in x wifes name due to getting a better rate. My pressing question is whom is a good lender for VA home loans for someone in my case? Once the home is sold I am soon to be without one and really need some help getting put in the right direction. CRSC hopefully when I reach age 60 and able to receive retirement the laws will be changed to where I can receive CRSC due to having combat injuries thanks for replying got any insight on who is a good lender for VA home loans for vets as I? thank you
