Does anyone know if one is able to find copies of old boot camp graduation pictures? My father graduated from boot camp March 25th 1954, Platoon 19, Seventh Recruit Batallion. He pasted away last year and his original photo was destroyed in a fire. My Mom would really love it if there was a way to get a copy of the photo to replace the destroyed one. Is this even possible? I know it is from a long time ago, but if anyone knows where I can even start looking, I would greatly appreciate it.

Why not try to write a letter to the base where your father took boot camp. Maybe they have it on record.
Good luck. I know how much it means. |

I was in platoon 10 in MCRD I still have my picture, so if you know any one in his platoon I,m sure they would be happy to get a copy made for you. So sorry about your loss Semper Fi Sandy
