The National Board recently passed a proposal to allow CAP personnel who wear the AF flight suit to wear cloth ASNP's, but the AF will probably say no.

So, considering the high probability that the Air Force will not approve of cloth ASNP's for CAP personnel to wear with the AF flight suit, how about allowing CAP officers who wear the AF flight suit to only have their name and rating badge on the leather ASNP?

Think about it: most AF officers who wear the flight suit don't have their rank or service affiliation on their ASNP because they are wearing rank on the flight suit and everyone can see what rank they are. Why should CAP be any different?

CAP officers wearing leather ASNP's on their flight suits with just their name and and badge(s) would look better, in my opinion. Heck, Vanguard doesn't even know how to center "Rank" and "CAP" under the name on the ASNP; they are supposed to be aligned under the name, not off to the side!

It's supposed to look like this:

NOT this:

As a sidenote, is there any possibility the cloth ASNP will be approved for the blue CAP flightsuit? After all, it is not an AF uniform and changes to it are not subject to AF approval.
