Sad week for CG aviation.

I flew with then, LT Mike Baker at a couple of units. Thoughts and prayers go out the friends and families of the flight crew.

This is a very sad week, indeed. I just spoke with Mike a couple of months ago to see how things were going for him. He was keeping busy with the new flying gig and remodeling his place in Florida.

Mike was a lot of fun to hang out with on duty nights back at good ol' airsta Detroit. I'll miss his humor and friendship. Again, may God bless and comfort his family and loved ones.

Rest in peace, Mike. You're truly missed, mate.

LT Baker was the aircraft commander on some of my first SAR cases. He always made me laugh. What a tragedy.
