A HH-65C from CGAS San Francisco flew over my house today, it was really low and it was really awesome! So that got me thinking, is there a Coast Guard Ride Along program, like there is for the Police? I heard that if you're an eagle scout then you can fly with them. I'm planning on becoming a Sea Cadet this summer, could i do it then?
I am stationed at an air station and we just recently had some sea cadet come on in and they all got to get up in the air. They came in as a group. Are you planning on joining the CG?

Give the Ops Center a call at the Air Station and ask them for the Public Affairs Officer, or the Flight Services Officer. The number is on their internet site. There are limitations defined in the Air Operations manual as to exactly who can and cannot be taken up for "Familiarization Flights", and either of those officers can fill you in.
There is nothing in the regs about eagle scouts but Naval Sea Cadets can participate in "restricted orientation flights" simply meaning you won't get to see too much "cool" stuff and you can't sit in the front seats but you can at least get to ride around.
While at my last house in a neighboring town, we got buzzed once or twice a year by a flight of Blackhawks that would land at the H.S. a coupla blocks away and then give the JR ROTC kids a flight.
