Anybody out there know how Rich Lyman was given this nickname? It appears to be one of Coast Guard avaitions greatest mysteries.

I believe it was given to him by the Chief of an Aleutian Island indian tribe. It just flowed better than "Dances with Seals".

I'm not sure, but I hope he's doing okay. We haven't heard much from him since our daughter graduated high school.

I've wondered that a number of times. No one I ask actually knows....they all make a smart ass comment and leave it at that.

I'll bet Rich would tell us himself if we offered him a handful of "two dollar bills"

'Tis the season and all, but when "We wish you a Merry Christmas" gets into the second verse it scares me when they ask for some "Jiggy pudding". I don't think I really want to know just what that is...

Back when I was in the shop with him he said the nickname was given to him during the time of the song "Getting Jiggy With It".

Thought that it was a strip club song.
