Anybody out there know how Rich Lyman was given this nickname? It appears to be one of Coast Guard avaitions greatest mysteries.

I believe it was given to him by the Chief of an Aleutian Island indian tribe. It just flowed better than "Dances with Seals".

I'm not sure, but I hope he's doing okay. We haven't heard much from him since our daughter graduated high school.

I've wondered that a number of times. No one I ask actually knows....they all make a smart ass comment and leave it at that.

I asked him, and he told me that it's his secret. He was surprised that it came up on here though.....

You do have to realize that this topic may be subject to violating several international laws. Some things are better off to be left a mystery...

'Tis the season and all, but when "We wish you a Merry Christmas" gets into the second verse it scares me when they ask for some "Jiggy pudding". I don't think I really want to know just what that is...

Back when I was in the shop with him he said the nickname was given to him during the time of the song "Getting Jiggy With It". Thought that it was a strip club song.
