Sliding to the right, Chief.

Sensors Branch will be at the APO next week to give initial training, though.

I've heard Feb for the 1st one then the next 2 will be done shortly after that. They need to be ready to take over Ecity by this summer cuz the 1500's are going away.

How are the Casa's doing? I heard you guys have hit some bumps in the road...

I have been relieved from the Casa, and am currently working over with the 1500's, awaiting the replacements. Wheteher or not it is a mixture of missionized J-models and non missionized J-models, what I hear is that it will happen July 08.

Too dynamic (and early) to say that for a fact. It is a weekly thing. I would be prepared for one of the 1500's to be around for a bit longer. More to follow.......

Does that go for the billets slated to be axed when the 1500's leave?

Senior, I believe the billets at our unit with transfers happening are pretty much as close as anyone could exspect. However like Master Chief has stated too dynamic, will change weekly.

So what you're trying to say is that you left like a "ship leaving a drowning rat" or something like that??

Funny Gus, you know that it was a mutual between two parties. The Casa team is progressing from what I hear from them. I know most of them, I believe they have everything well in order.

The working target for the H's to J's there is still for next summer. I don't have too much stroke on this but I'm advocating for an earlier transition vs a later one so the folks who do move can do so in the normal PCS fashion. Too late and it hurts the folks with families, school registrations, house hunting, etc. The players up here are well aware of that. The AO's are still tracking for next summer too.

Think of the program as a log house. The weekly dynamics are such that one bad log will hold up building the rest of the house. That bad log could be system delays, lack of money, money got shifted to somewhere else, a new sys requirement was added, something just doesn't work.....you can pick anything, it doesn't matter what the culprit is. One unsched snafu and it re-racks the timelines for the whole project.

It's not just an aviation thing. From what I have observed, it happens during any major CG acquisition up here. You fix what is in your control and adapt to whatever isn't. Just because you hit a bump in the road, you don't quit moving forward.

With all this said....at the end of the day, it will revolve around the needs of the program.

Only 3 planes? What are the other 3 gonna do? Those will be pretty expensive trash haulers just to have hangin' around.
