Hi, my fiance is trying to get a guaranteed AET school. He just finished all of his flight physical stuff. They told him that it would take 14-16 weeks for him to get approved. Is this true, any AET's who can tell me how long it took them to get approved. He is trying to get into the Nov. 20 boot camp. Thanks

There is no Nov class but there is a Nov go to boot camp and later go to airmen program. The class (I mentioned is closed .Also nothing is guaranteed until phy is approved by the flight Doctor in DC and this process takes three to four months.

The recruiter will forward the flight physical to Coast Guard Recruiting Command Airman Program Manager.

He will forward to CGPC EPM-2.

It may take some time.

Once the flight physical is approved, the recruiter will contact the applicant and request the AET "A" School and Airman Program, Ship Date to Basic.
