From what I can tell, the CG uses the same "Aviation Career Incentive Pay" system as the Army.
If I switch from Army to CG, do I get to keep my years of aviation service I earned in the Army?
Does the CG often handout aviator bonuses?

You should talk to tankkllr via private message (PM)...he's a USA DCA and I judge from his posts that he's pretty knowledgable about the transition from one branch of service to another. You can find his posts all over the aviation threads, and you can PM him by checking his profile...good luck!

No need to PM. I can answer here.

Thanks for the good words resq mech. Looks like you got to Mobile about the time I left.

Anyway, to answer your question Armyflyer you are correct. You will get the time applied for ACIP. But the sad thing about that is unlike when you are a warrant officer, your flight pay will eventually go down with time once you take the commission.

Thanks for info! It is a common assumption that you throw away the "6 year bump" in flight pay- and start from scratch- if you switch out of the Army. Glad to clear that up.
