"A new MH65C helicopter of Helicopter Interdiction Tactical Squadron flies tactical maneuvers with a tactical training boat during training in the St. Johns River, Florida. Some additional features on the new helicopter include a forward-looking infrared device and heads-up-display to enhance night operations, and an electro-optical sensor system to enhance detection capabilities." < thats the caption

Good luck on the AMT efforts. It happens to be my personal favorite....not that I'm biased. Wink How bad are your eyes?

I noticed you also have quite a few YouTube (re)postings. If/when you get in the CG......I would humbly offer the suggestion to be cautious on your YouTube postings. Even though a posting might be of innocent intent, you don't know who is looking at what you post about the CG (or your job) and what they could glean from it.

The RPG may have been for dramatic effect during the training exercise.

Is that an RPG or a Stinger? RPG is not very good against a helo unless it is very close and very still.

It's a RPG or a mock one anyway.

Actually RPGs have been surprisingly effective against helicopters. Read or watch Blachawk down, or read about some of the air battles in the war on terrorism.

The one in the picture is of course only a rubber replica and is a part of the training regime. It is not for "dramatic effect" it is for identification purposes by the crew.

That's what I intended to say.

Similar to the tests we had to take in the late '70's in West Germany on Soviet vehicle profile recognition.
